The Washington Township Park takes pride in offering camp opportunities to youth ages 5-11 in our Avon community and surrounding areas .
All of our camps will keep your child engaged in a safe and fun environment that will have them wanting to come back for more.
Camp offers a safe and positive environment where children gain confidence and learn new skills while enjoying fun-filled days outside exploring our beautiful park.
Our camps provide opportunities for children to disconnect from technology and become more physically active.
Campers experience success and become more confident by participating in team and individual activities.
In addition, our campers become more independent by learning to do things on their own all while improving their social skills and making lasting friendships.
Avon Kids’ Camp follows the American Camp Association’s 1:10 guideline for camper/counselor ratio.

Campers who attend full-day camps should bring a backpack with their lunch and a beverage in a refillable water bottle as well an an extra change of clothes ,shoes, swim suit, towel and plastic bag for wet items.
What to Wear to Camp
Campers will be given a camp t-shirt with registration to be worn to camp each day. You can purchase additional shirts for $10. Campers should wear cool, comfortable play clothes that can get messy and closed-toe athletic shoes (tennis shoes, sneakers, etc). Laces or Velcro must be tied snugly on the camper’s foot. Socks should also be worn. Flip flops or sandals may only be worn at the splash pad and are not acceptable to be worn during the camp day. Campers wearing inappropriate footwear will be unable to fully participate for their own safety.
Campers who are enrolled in full-day camps must bring a lunch and beverage each day. As part of our commitment to health and wellness, we encourage campers to bring nutritious foods and beverages. We recommend all campers bring a reusable water bottle to camp each day. Refrigeration is not available for participants’ lunch, so please do not include any food that is subject to rapid deterioration or spoilage. If your camper has a severe food allergy, please contact us so we can provide accommodations for the food allergy if necessary. Please send food in sealed containers and clearly label your camper’s lunch with his/her name.
Departing from Camp Parents/Guardians or Authorized Persons (Camper Information Form) are required to sign their camper out at the end of the camp day. All individuals must be prepared to show identification during pick-up. Staff will request ID until the identification is established.
