How to Get Here
The park is physically located at 115 South CR 575 East, Avon, Indiana 46123. Find us on MapQuest
From the West (Danville)
- Head east on US 36 towards Indianapolis.
- You will pass a Wendy’s and two car dealerships (traffic light).
- You will pass through the Old US 36 intersection (traffic light).
- The next intersection is 575 E (No traffic light. Look for our sign on the hill). Turn right onto 575 E.
- Travel south on 575 E. approximately 100 feet. Turn left into the park.
From the East (Indianapolis)
- Take 465 and exit at 13B - US 36 exit. You will be heading west on US 36 for approximately 7 miles.
- Once you pass three softball diamonds on the left. The next left turn is 575 E. There is a small brown sign on the left side of US 36 that says "Washington Township Community Park” (no traffic light).
- The Park sign is on 575 E. Travel up 575 E. approximately 100 feet. Turn left into the park.
- If you reach Old US 36 and Ritter’s Frozen Custard, you have gone too far.
From the South (Plainfield)
- Head north on US 267 towards Avon.
- Head west on US 36, toward Danville.
- Once you pass three softball diamonds on the left. The next left turn is 575 E. There is a small brown sign on the left side of US 36 that says "Washington Township Community Park” (no traffic light).
- The Park sign is on 575 E. Travel up 575 E. approximately 100 feet. Turn left into the park.
- If you reach Old US 36 and Ritter’s Frozen Custard, you have gone too far.
From the North (Brownsburg)
- Head south on US 267 towards Avon.
- Head west on US 36, toward Danville.
- Once you pass three softball diamonds on the left. The next left turn is 575 E. There is a small brown sign on the left side of US 36 that says "Washington Township Community Park” (no traffic light).
- The Park sign is on 575 E. Travel up 575 E. approximately 100 feet. Turn left into the park.
- If you reach Old US 36 and Ritter’s Frozen Custard, you have gone too far.
