Pavilion Center

Thank you for your interest in the Washington Township Pavilion Center. With it opening this fall, we have already started reserving the facility through Christmas 2010!

With seating for a few hundred guests, the Pavilion Center is the perfect place for your wedding reception, business meeting, family reunion, birthday party and much more. The Pavilion Center offers audio/video capabilities, a patio over looking our naturally fed and well-stocked lake and many caterers to choose from to make your event special.

Below you will find the hours of operation and the charges associated with reserving just one room at the Pavilion Center, or the entire building. Should you have questions, please do not hesitate to contact the main office at 317-272-1835 (ext 12) or the park office at 317-745-0785.


Hours of Operation

Monday - Friday: 9:00am - 5:00pm*
Saturday - Sunday: Closed**

* The Center will be open after 5:00pm for scheduled events, as required.
** The Center will be closed on weekends except for scheduled events. Available weekend hours are 9am - 11pm on Saturday, and 11am - 6pm on Sunday.


Catering

Whether you choose to have a meeting at the Pavilion Center, a wedding or birthday party, we have contracted with local caterers who will be happy to satisfy your guests' appetites. Please find a list of those caterers below. If you have a caterer in mind that is not on our list, please call the Park to discuss your wish for that particular caterer. If you choose to bring in your own food, you will be charged the use of the Prep Room.

Room Rental Policies

  • You must sign and submit this Rental Agreement with your deposit.
  • The following rates include the set-up and tear down of the tables and chairs for up to 300 guests. This will be completed by the caterer.
  • As part of the interior decoration, no staples, nails, tacks can be used. All interior decor must be pre-approved by staff.
  • As part of the clean up, all décor must be removed before the end of the rental.
  • The park will supply tables and chairs for your event. However, if you wish to bring in your own tables and chairs you are responsible for obtaining them.
  • The Park’s tables and chairs may be used inside the Pavilion Center or on the patio. They are not to be removed from those two areas.
  • You must tear down your tables and chairs before your reservation has ended. Please see the rental contract for additional information. We do not have a dance floor. You must obtain one on your own as well.
  • If you are obtaining a contractor with a liquor license, and are supplying alcohol, you must hire one security guard per 75 people to work your event. Please call Mark Flint (see contract) should you need security guards for your event. The Township requires you to work with Mark to set this up.
  • The rates also include the use of a sound system, projector, screen and microphone. There is also access to a patio off of the back of the building that may be used by all reservations.
  • All reservations are required to pay a deposit in order to secure their desired date. Payment of the rental charge is due 60 days before the rental date.

Daytime Rental Fees & Hours

  • Aspen (Center) Room Only: $40/hr + $100 Security Deposit
  • Oak (North) or Birch (South) Room Only: $30/hr + $100 Security Deposit
  • All Three Rooms: $60/hr + $100 Security Deposit
  • Add Prep Room: $100 flat fee

Daytime Rentals are for a minimum of 3 Hours, and are available as follows:

  • Mon - Thu: 9:00am - 5:00pm
  • Friday: 9:00am - 3:00pm
  • Saturday: 9:00am - 3:00pm
  • Sunday: 11:00am - 6:00pm

Evening Rental Fees & Hours

  • All Three Rooms: $100/hr + $200 Security Deposit

Evening Rentals are for a minimum of 5 Hours, include the use of the Prep Room, and are available as follows:

  • Friday: 3:00pm - 11:00pm
  • Saturday: 3:00pm - 11:00pm
