Winter Break Camp

Register Here
Looking for some fun over Winter Break?

Come Join the fun with Winter Break Camp held in the Pavilion Center! Although it's cold outside we still go outside daily to play in the snow, sled down the big hill or take a hike. Kids will be engaged and entertained with classic board games, large group games, crafts and science experiments.

Structure and planning are very important but we also believe in letting the kids use their imagination. If the kids come up with a fun and safe activity that the counselors agree on....... we are doing it! As parents ourselves, we believe that the kids are structured and scheduled all school year long. Camp is a place to explore, imagine and be a kid. In a world of technology, there is nothing wrong with just being a kid.

Fees

Avon Kids Camp is for ages 5 years old who have started kindergarten to age 11 years old.

Food Policy
Campers who have not purchased a lunch at registration must bring a lunch and beverage each day. Lunch is offered during registration for an additional $4. As part of our commitment to health and wellness, we encourage campers to bring nutritious foods and beverages. We recommend all campers bring a reusable water bottle to camp each day.   Refrigeration is not available for participants’ lunch, so please do not include any food that is subject to rapid deterioration or spoilage. If your camper has a severe food allergy, please contact us so we can provide accommodations for the food allergy if necessary. Please send food in sealed containers and clearly label your camper’s lunch with his/her name.

Drop off

Parents will be dropping off using our drive through service.  Cars will pull up to the front doors of the Pavilion Center and a counselor will come out to get your child. Look  for the drop off signs.   The lead counselor will come to your car window and ask the parent/guardian questions about fever and cough. Counselors may check the campers temperature using a forehead thermometer.

Departing from Camp

Pick is from 4:30-6pm. Parents/Guardians or Authorized Persons (Camper Information Form) are required to check  their camper out with the lead counselor at the end of  camp each day.  Pull up to the front doors of the Pavilion Center and show your campers pick up pass and the lead counselor will get your child, sanitize their hands and assist them into your vehicle. All individuals with out a pick up pass must be prepared to show identification during pick-up. You may request multiple passes for each pickup parent/guardian. If you need to pick up your camper before 4:30 please notify us by using the Remind App (direction will be given to parents after registration) so we can have your camper ready for you.

Cancellation Policy
Please notify the Camp Director in writing at least 10 business days ahead of time if you plan on not having your camper attend the day(s)/week(s) for which they are currently enrolled.  If you cancel your registration with less than 10 business days you will not receive a full refund. Anyone who cancels after the 10 day minimum has the option to receive a household credit to use towards future camp days with permission from the Camp Director. Requests for a camp credit must be made at least 24 hours before your child misses a registered day of camp.

Refund/Credit Plan for COVID
A camp credit will be given to campers who arrive at camp and have a temp of 100.0F and are sent home. Any campers who show signs of COVID 19 during the camp day and are sent home will not receive a credit or refund. Campers who do not attend camp for more than 3 consecutive days due to COVID 19 symptoms will receive a camp credit for days missed.  All other absences will follow our normal refund policy. The Camp Director and/or Park Director can modify the refund policy as they see fit as it pertains to individual circumstances. If your child has a temp over 100.0F more than 3 times over a 10 day time span then you will need to have the child tested for COVID 19 and show the test results to the Camp Director before you child can return to camp.

Late Pick-Up Fee
If it becomes apparent that tardiness is a reoccurring issue during pickup, the Director will notify you to discuss late fee assessments. Parents will be charged $1 per minute should late pickups continue. In the event of 5 or more late pickups the Camp Director can request removal from camp. Late pick up is after 6 pm for full day.
