Looking for something fun ​to do over Spring Break?

Join us at Explorer Camp Spring Break style. Our camp is for students ages 5-11 years old.
Enroll for individual days, an entire week or all of Spring Break. The choice is yours!

Week 1 - Carnival Mania
  • Come have fun playing classic carnival games, eating yummy carnival snacks and meeting our special balloon artist guest.
Week 2 - Springtime on the Farm
  • ​Come and enjoy playing farm themed games, making fun animal crafts and getting a visit from some friendly farm animals.​

Camp Fees
​​Single Full Day - $35
Weekly Rate - $175

**Registration is open until 4:00pm the Thursday before the week of camp begins.

Optional Add-Ons:
Lunch - $4 - Lunch choices each day are: various deli meats on white bread, PB&J sandwiches, fresh fruit, fruit cups, bags of chips, yogurt tubes, carrot sticks or other raw veggies, and a juice box. During Check-In, your camper will be asked which option they would like.


Food Policy
​If you'd like to purchase a lunch for your child, please add it to your registration for an additional $4.00.
  • Campers who have not purchased a lunch at registration MUST bring a lunch and beverage each day.
As part of our commitment to health and wellness, we encourage campers to bring nutritious foods and beverages.
We also recommend all campers bring a reusable water bottle to camp each day.

Please Note: Refrigeration is not available for participants’ lunch, so please do not include any food that is subject to rapid deterioration or spoilage. If your camper has a severe food allergy, please contact us so we can provide accommodations for the food allergy if necessary. Please send food in sealed containers and clearly label your camper’s lunch with his/her name.

Drop off & Pick Up
Please drop off and pick up your child at the Washington Township Park Pavilion Center. It is located at the lower portion of the park.
Drop Off | 7:00am - 9:00am
Pick Up | 4:00pm-6:00pm
  • Parents/Guardians or Authorized Persons are required to check their camper out with the lead counselor at the end of  camp each day. Please pull up to the front doors of the Pavilion Center and show your camper's pick up pass. All individuals without a pick up pass must be prepared to show identification during pick-up. You may request multiple passes for parents/guardians.
  • If you are running late or need to talk to the lead counselor for any other reason please use the Remind App.
    • After downloading the app, text 81010.
    • In the message area, type @wtpspring and hit send.
    • You will need to redo this for the start of each camp.

Camper Health Guidelines
  • Parents are responsible to let the Camp Director know immediately if your child has symptoms or has been diagnosed with a Communicable Disease. Camp staff will care for minor bumps and bruises and notify parent/guardian immediately through our online Injury Report sent via email.
  • Parent/Guardian will be notified immediately if a camper becomes ill or sustains an injury of a serious nature.
  • Please do not bring your child to camp if they feel ill, or have had a fever, coughing, vomiting or diarrhea. A child must be fever and cough free for 72 hours and 24 hours for vomiting and diarrhea.
  • Please do not bring children who have lice or are injured to the extent to where they cannot participate in activities without the possibility of further injury.
​Cancellation Policy
Please notify the Assistant Camp Director, Jessica Miller by email at jmilller@avonfd.org a minimum of 10 business days ahead before the week of camp begins if you plan on not having your camper attend the day(s)/week(s) for which they are currently enrolled for a full refund.  If registration is canceled within less than 10 business days but before the Thurday at 4:00pm prior to the week of camp beginning, you will receive a credit to your account. No credits will be given after the Thursday at 4:00pm deadline before the week of camp begins. This allows us to fill the spot from the waitlist.


Late Pick-Up Fee
If it becomes apparent that tardiness is a reoccurring issue during pickup, the Director will notify you to discuss late fee assessments. Parents will be charged $1 per minute should late pickups continue. In the event of 5 or more late pickups the Camp Director can request removal from camp. Late pick up is after 6 pm
